Tiny Girl With Autism Sings Different Version Of ‘Hallelujah,’ And Leaves Everyone In Tears

We’ve heard adults sing the stirring song “Hallelujah” in the past, but this young girl with special needs proves you don’t need to be a grownup to have an extremely powerful and moving voice. Kaylee Rogers is the little girl from the Killard House Special School in Northern Ireland that you see in the touching video below.

This school encourages Kaylee to demonstrate her confidence, skill, and charming stage presence all year round. That’s why her rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” is so beautiful.

While Kaylee may be shy when she isn’t singing, she really shines when she is given the chance to share her amazing talent. Singing seems to give her limitless confidence.

Little Kaylee belts out each note with such conviction, poise, and soul that it’s hard not to get teary-eyed while she’s on stage. Kaylee spent months rehearse for this performance and doesn’t let her disability get in her way!

She knows all of the words by heart and doesn’t need sheet music to guide her. Despite the fact she has autism and ADHD, she stands in front of the crowd and delivers a hauntingly beautiful rendition of “Hallelujah,” which is no easy feat.

It’s clear this 10-year-old songstress doesn’t let disabilities define her – she knows that she has so much to give to the world! God has truly blessed her with a talent, one that sets her aside from others no matter the challenges that everyday life may throw her way.

Kaylee’s performance of “Hallelujah” is one of the most heartfelt renditions out there, and the song’s lyrics are perfect for the season. We all need to remember God’s grace and the importance of loving thy neighbor!

This video’s release is perfect in its timing, too. Leonard Cohen sadly left this earth just a couple of weeks before Kaylee’s rendition of his classic song was shared with the world.
